The Genealogy of Abomination: The Family Tree of False Gods

To understand the modern “Global Religion of Self,” one must look past the confusing pantheons of Greece, Rome, and Egypt to find the common ancestor. The King James Bible identifies this source as Babylon. This is not a collection of separate myths, but a single, ancient rebellion that merely changed its costume as it moved across the globe.

The Trunk: Nimrod and the Shinar Rebellion

The “root” of the tree is Nimrod, the grandson of Ham. He was the first to organize a world system in open defiance of God.

“And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel… He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.” (Genesis 10:9-10, KJV)

When Nimrod died, the mystery of iniquity began. His wife, Semiramis, claimed he had ascended to the sun. When she later bore an illegitimate son, Tammuz, she claimed he was the miraculous reincarnation of the “Sun-Father.” This formed the Babylonian Trinity: The Father (Nimrod/Sun), The Mother (Semiramis/Moon), and the Son (Tammuz/Saviour).

The Scattering: One Story, Many Tongues

When God confounded the languages at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11), the people did not abandon their religion; they translated it. As they migrated, the names changed, but the “DNA” of the deities remained identical.

1. The Father Branch (The Sun/The Storm/The “Lord”)

This branch represents the “Baal” figure—the king of the gods, often associated with the sun, the bull, and the lightning bolt.

  • Babylon: Bel / Marduk
  • Canaan: Baal / Hadad
  • Egypt: Ra / Osiris
  • Greece: Zeus
  • Rome: Jupiter / Vulcan
  • Norse: Odin / Thor

2. The Mother Branch (The Queen of Heaven)

This branch represents the “Mother and Child” cult, focusing on fertility and the “divine feminine.”

  • Babylon: Ishtar
  • Canaan: Ashtoreth / Astarte
  • Egypt: Isis
  • Greece: Aphrodite / Artemis
  • Rome: Venus / Diana / Cybele
  • Ephesus: Diana of the Ephesians (referenced in Acts 19:27, KJV)

3. The Son Branch (The Counterfeit Saviour)

This branch represents the “dying and rising” god who promises secret knowledge or life through initiation.

  • Babylon: Tammuz (referenced in Ezekiel 8:14, KJV)
  • Egypt: Horus
  • Greece: Apollo / Dionysus / Hermes
  • Rome: Mithras / Cupid

The Fruit: The “All-Seeing Eye” of the Occult

As the tree grew, the branches intertwined. This explains why the same symbols—the obelisk, the hexagram, the owl, and the all-seeing eye—appear in Egypt, in the mysteries of Greece, and eventually in the secret societies like Freemasonry.

They are all honoring the same “Grand Architect” of the Babel rebellion. When a Mason honors Vulcan or Apollo, he is not honoring a myth; he is feeding a branch of the tree that leads directly back to Baal and Nimrod.

The Theological Verdict

The Bible does not view these as “cultural expressions.” It views them as a singular, spiritual harlotry.

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” (Revelation 17:5, KJV)

The goal of this “Family Tree” has always been the same: to produce a “final fruit”—the Antichrist. He will be the ultimate “Tammuz,” the ultimate “Horus,” and the ultimate “Baal,” appearing to save a world that has rejected the True Vine, Jesus Christ.
