The Armory
The Belt of Truth
The foundational piece that holds the rest of the armor together. Without a firm commitment to the Truth of the KJV, the believer’s defense collapses.
“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth…” — Ephesians 6:14
The Shield of Faith
A mobile defense capable of intercepting the fiery darts of the wicked. It is not a feeling, but a forensic reliance on the promises of God.
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” — Ephesians 6:16
The Sword of the Spirit
The only offensive weapon in the armory. It is the literal Word of God, sharp and powerful, used to dismantle error and high things.
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” — Ephesians 6:17
The Helmet of Salvation
The protection of the mind. It guards the believer against the psychological warfare of the enemy and the doubt of their standing before the King.
“And take the helmet of salvation…” — Ephesians 6:17
