The Record
The Descent of the Spirit
The forensic ignition of the Church. At Pentecost, the Apostles were endued with power from on high, enabling them to testify in every tongue known to the gathered nations.
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea…” — Acts 1:8
The Conversion of Saul
A pivotal piece of evidence. The transformation of the chief persecutor of the Church into its greatest missionary remains a historical fact that demands an explanation.
“And suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” — Acts 9:3-4
The Gentile Admission
The forensic expansion of the Covenant. Through Peter’s vision at Joppa, the King revealed that the Blueprint of Redemption was for every nation, tribe, and tongue.
“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him… is accepted with him.” — Acts 10:34-35
The Apostolic Seal
The mission was sealed with the blood of the witnesses. Almost every Apostle chose death over recanting their testimony of the risen King, proving the sincerity of their claim.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” — Revelation 12:11
