The Darwinian Delusion

The foundational strike against the sovereignty of the Creator in this modern age is the persistent myth of Darwinism. It is a system built upon the sand of “science falsely so called” (1 Timothy 6:20), designed to provide a pseudo-intellectual escape from the moral accountability owed to the Almighty. By asserting that man is the product of purposeless mutation and the cruelty of natural selection, this doctrine seeks to overwrite the Divine record which declares that “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:27). To accept the Darwinian premise is to reject the finished work of the Word, for it replaces the Garden of Eden with a graveyard of transitional forms that do not exist.

The forensic reality of the natural world reveals not a climb from chaos to complexity, but a creation “made subject to vanity” (Romans 8:20) and groaning under the weight of the fall. The intricate design of the cell and the vast information within the genetic code are the fingerprints of a Master Architect, not the byproduct of “accidental” collisions over eons of time. Darwinism is not merely a biological error; it is a theological rebellion. It attempts to remove the need for a Redeemer by denying the historical reality of the first Adam. Yet, the truth remains unshakable: “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible” (Colossians 1:16).

We must stand as watchmen against this encroachment of naturalism that withers the soul and blinds the eyes of the youth. The defense of the truth requires an uncompromising adherence to the literal testimony of the Bible, recognizing that any concession to the evolutionary timeline is a concession to the spirit of antichrist. We do not look to the earth to find our ancestors in the mire, but we look to the heavens from whence our help cometh. The King is at the door, and He shall soon reclaim the world that He spoke into existence by the power of His word, for “he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:9).
