The Doctrine of the Door

The hope of the Lord’s Return is not a calculation to be solved, but a command to be obeyed. In an age of digital clamor and prophetic confusion, we must return to the Ancient Paths. We reject the arrogance of the date-setter and the apathy of the scoffer. We stand upon the bedrock of Imminency: the biblical truth that Jesus Christ may return at any moment, and that this uncertainty is the divine catalyst for a holy life.

The Foundation of our Hope

To live in imminency is to live in the “Signal” while the world perishes in the “Noise.” We define our stance by these non-negotiable scriptural pillars:

  • The Sovereignty of the Father’s Timing: We acknowledge that the “times and the seasons” are held in the Father’s own power (Acts 1:7). Any man who claims to have decoded a specific day or hour is a merchant of “uncertain sounds” (1 Corinthians 14:8) and is to be marked and avoided.
  • The Suddenness of the Appearance: The Word of God declares that the Day of the Lord cometh “as a thief in the night” (1 Thessalonians 5:2). A thief does not send a formal invitation; he arrives when the house is quiet and the world is asleep.
  • The Purifying Power of Expectation: We do not wait in idle speculation. We wait in Forensic Sanctification. The true “Blessed Hope” (Titus 2:13) causes a man to cast off the works of darkness and put on the armour of light, for the night is far spent and the day is at hand.

The Rejection of Cultural Neglect

The “Great Falling Away” is characterized by a church that has said in its heart, “My lord delayeth his coming” (Matthew 24:48). This neglect has birthed a generation of “Modern Idolatry,” where the focus has shifted from the Eternal Kingdom to the temporal comforts of this present evil world.

The Imminency Project exists to reclaim the watch. We are not looking for signs in the stars to tell us when to start living for God; we are living for God because the King is already at the threshold. We occupy until He comes, but we do so with our loins girded and our lamps burning.

The Verdict of the Remnant

We hereby resolve to treat the doctrine of the Lord’s Return as the primary lens through which we view all of history and all of current events. We refuse to be lulled into the sleep of the Laodicean or the frenzy of the fanatic. Our posture is one of Watchful Obedience.

If the world asks, “Where is the promise of His coming?” our answer is not a chart or a graph. Our answer is a life transformed by the reality that we shall soon see Him as He is.

Stand fast, for the King is at the door.
