We are witnessing a synchronized collapse. On one hand, the “merchants of the earth” have set up shop within the sanctuary, turning the Blessed Hope into a high-octane marketing campaign. Whether it is the polished “Legacy” branding of the professional prophets or the “Big Fix” promises of the prosperity elite, the message is the same: Invest in the world that is passing away. On the other hand, the civil government has abandoned its role as a restrainer of evil, moving to legalize the very perversions that brought fire upon the cities of the plain. The “nasty” and the “noble” have shaken hands.

• On the Greed of the Teachers: “And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.” (2 Peter 2:3)
• On the Corruption of the State: “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.” (Psalm 12:8)
• On the Final Convergence: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers… having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:1-2, 5)

The “Great Falling Away” is not a singular event, but a convergence. It is the moment when the “Church” becomes a business and the “State” becomes a panderer. When leaders grin at tragedy or sell “Legacy Plans” for a world they claim is ending, they provide the “Form of Godliness.” Simultaneously, when governments decriminalize the destruction of the body, they provide the “Perilous Times.” They are no longer opposing forces; they are two sides of the same coin, minted in the treasury of the god of this world.
