Love ❤️
Definition: Unconditional affection and benevolent concern for others. This is the foundational fruit from which all others grow.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” – Galatians 5:22-23
Joy 😊
Definition: A deep-seated gladness that comes from God, independent of circumstances.
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.” – 1 Peter 1:8
Peace 🕊️
Definition: A state of tranquility and rest that comes from a right relationship with God and others.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” – Isaiah 26:3
Patience ⏳
Definition: The ability to endure challenging circumstances without complaint. It is a slow-to-anger quality.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9
Kindness 🤗
Definition: The practice of acting in a gentle, compassionate, and benevolent way toward others.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:32
Goodness 👍
Definition: A moral and spiritual excellence that is demonstrated in righteous living.
“For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth.” – Ephesians 5:9
Faithfulness 🙏
Definition: A steadfast and loyal commitment to God and others, demonstrated by dependability and trustworthiness.
“I am the Lord, and I do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.” – Malachi 3:6
Gentleness 😌
Definition: A gentle and humble disposition, rooted in a strength that is under control. It is not weakness but a powerful humility.
“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” – Matthew 11:29
Self-Control 💪
Definition: The ability to manage one’s desires and impulses in alignment with God’s will.
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
