The Road to Salvation
Finding hope, peace, and eternal life.
A Message for Everyone
Have you ever felt like something was missing? A sense of purpose, a deep peace, or a way to truly start over? The Bible provides a clear, loving answer to these questions. It’s a message for every person, everywhere.
1. The Problem: Separation
The Bible teaches that we’ve all done things that are wrong, which it calls “sin.” This isn’t just about big mistakes; it’s about any thought, word, or action that falls short of God’s perfect standard. Because God is holy, our sin creates a separation between us and Him.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
2. The Solution: Jesus
Because God loves us so much, He didn’t want this separation to be permanent. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the perfect sacrifice. Jesus lived a sinless life and died on the cross, taking the punishment for our sins. Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
3. Your Response: Faith
Salvation is a gift, not something we can earn. It’s received through **faith**, which is simply believing in Jesus and trusting Him alone for your forgiveness. The Bible says all you have to do is confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9
4. The Result: A New Life
When you make the decision to follow Jesus, you are immediately forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life. Your new life as a Christian begins, empowered by the Holy Spirit. This is not the end of a journey, but the start of a personal relationship with God.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
A Simple Prayer
If you’re ready to start this journey, you can express your faith to God with a prayer like this. Remember, it’s not the words that save you, but the faith in your heart.
“Dear God, I know that I have sinned and that my sin has separated me from you. Thank you for sending your Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for my sins and to rise again. I believe in Him as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and help me to live for you from this day forward. Amen.”
If you’ve just prayed that prayer, congratulations! This is the most important decision you can ever make.
