A Witness to the “No Kings” Era

The streets of our nation are currently filled with a cry that echoes an ancient rebellion. From the flagship demonstrations in St. Paul to the clashes in Los Angeles and the marches through Dallas, a decentralized movement has risen under the banner of “No Kings.” As millions gathered Saturday, March 28, 2026, to mock authority and decry the “crowns” of men, they unknowingly set the stage for a forensic revelation that the prophet Ezekiel recorded over two millennia ago. While the world shouts its defiance against earthly rulers, the high court of Heaven sits in derisive laughter, for the decree has already been signed in blood and fire.

The “No Kings” movement prides itself on being leaderless, a “we the people” collective that rejects the very idea of a sovereign. Yet, in their attempt to abolish the throne, they merely prove the desperate state of the human heart—a heart that the scripture describes as “stony” and in need of a radical, divine operation. The riots and civil unrest are not merely political theater; they are the “tumult of those that rise up against thee” mentioned in the Psalms. The protesters wave their signs and don their costumes to mock the authoritarian, but they fail to realize that their very rebellion is the “profaning of the name” that triggers the final intervention of the Almighty.

“And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.” (Ezekiel 36:23)

This is the “Forensic Stamp” on the current chaos. The world is watching the breakdown of order, the “mockeries to the king,” and the “jubilant contempt” in our streets. They believe they are witnessing a revolution of the people, but they are actually witnessing the preparation for the King of Kings. The heathen—those who believe there is no higher authority than the collective will or the billionaire’s whim—shall soon receive a notification that cannot be ignored. When God says “I will be known in the eyes of many nations,” He is not asking for a vote; He is declaring a fact.

The irony of the “No Kings” slogan is found in the absolute reality of the King they have not yet met. They say, “We don’t do kings in America,” but the King of Glory does not require a visa or an election. He is the one of whom it is written, “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:16). While the crowds in Times Square and the National Mall call for “regime change,” the ultimate Regime Change is already at the door. It is not a change from one man to another, but from the failing systems of men to the unshakeable government of the Son of God.

To the remnant watching these events unfold, the message is clear: do not be troubled by the noise of the streets. The “No Kings” protest is a signpost, a “Midnight Cry” reminding us that the throne of this world is being vacated to make room for the rightful Heir. The world may be surprised to find that there is indeed a King, and His name is Jesus, but for those who have studied the ancient paths, His arrival is the “blessed hope” we have long awaited. The signature of God is being written across the headlines of 2026, and soon, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Stand fast, for the King is at the door.
