Colorado’s Decent into the Days of Lot

In the spring of 2026, the state of Colorado attempted to cross a line that even the most “progressive” societies of the past century hesitated to touch. Senate Bill 26-097 was introduced with a sterile, clinical title: “Decriminalize Adult Commercial Sexual Activity.” But the forensic reality of this bill was nothing short of a state-sanctioned invitation to the spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah.

While the bill was narrowly defeated in March 2026—postponed indefinitely because even its sponsors realized the “hostile voices” of the moral remnant were too loud to ignore—the mere fact of its existence serves as a Apostasy Audit for the American government.

1. The Preemption of Morality

The most dangerous element of Colorado’s SB26-097 was not just the decriminalization of prostitution, but its preemption clause. The bill sought to strip local cities and counties of their right to enforce their own moral standards. It was a “top-down” imposition of vice, preventing any “City on a Hill” from protecting its own streets.

When a government uses its power to forbid the restraint of evil, it has ceased to be a “minister of God” and has become a patron of the pit.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)

2. The Sanitizing of Sin

The architects of this bill attempted to change the language to dull the conscience. They replaced the word “prostitution” with “commercial sexual activity.” This is the “Lexicon of Deception” in action. By turning a soul-destroying sin into a “commercial transaction,” they aim to treat the human body—the temple of the Holy Ghost for the believer—as nothing more than a commodity to be traded like wheat or oil.

The forensic truth is that you cannot sanitize what God has labeled an abomination. The “Big Fix” for Colorado isn’t a new bill; it is a sackcloth-and-ashes repentance.

3. The Government as a “Panderer”

By seeking to repeal laws against “keeping a place of prostitution,” the government of Colorado was essentially offering to act as the ultimate pimp. When the law protects the brothel, the law becomes a partner in the exploitation. The state argues this protects “sex workers,” but the Bible is clear that the only protection for those in such a life is to “go, and sin no more” (John 8:11).

The Forensic Verdict: A Sign of the End

The push for legalized prostitution in the USA is a direct fulfillment of the prophecy regarding the “Days of Lot.” It is the institutionalization of the Great Falling Away.

  • The Signal: A government that views the protection of vice as a “human right.”
  • The Noise: Claims that decriminalization makes communities “safer” or “more equitable.”
  • The Truth: A government that refuses to be a “terror to good works, but to the evil” (Romans 13:3) has lost its divine mandate and is inviting the judgment that fell upon the cities of the plain.

Colorado may have “laid over” the bill for now, but the spirit behind it is restless. The “Watchmen” must realize that we are not fighting a political party; we are fighting a principalities-backed effort to sear the national conscience before the King returns.
