Inclusivity: A Lexicon of Deception Entry

The term “Inclusivity” has become the paramount virtue of the modern age, presented as the ultimate expression of love and the final remedy for human division. To the world, a space is only moral if it is inclusive of every lifestyle, every belief system, and every moral standard without distinction. It is the “Signal” of a global brotherhood that promises a seat at the table for everyone, provided they do not bring the “Noise” of absolute truth. Yet, when we weigh this concept in the balances of the Sanctuary, we find that inclusivity is the theological blueprint for the Broad Way. The Lord Jesus Christ did not preach a gospel of universal inclusion, but a gospel of radical transformation, warning with sobering clarity: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat” (Matthew 7:13). The Broad Way is inclusive; the Strait Way is exclusive.

True Biblical love is never found in the affirmation of iniquity, but in the invitation to be reconciled to God through the narrow door of Christ. The deception of inclusivity lies in its demand that the Church remove the offense of the Cross to accommodate the world. It suggests that for God to be “love,” He must accept the sinner in his sin without the necessity of the new birth. This is a direct assault on the holiness of the Almighty. The scripture commands the believer to “be ye separate” and to “touch not the unclean thing” (2 Corinthians 6:17), a mandate that is the very antithesis of modern inclusivity. To include darkness in the house of light is not compassion; it is the compromise of the Great Commission. We are called to go into all the world to bring men out of darkness, not to bring the darkness into the fold to make the world feel comfortable.

As the Watchman surveys the horizon, he sees the “Inclusivity” movement as the scaffolding for the coming ecumenical world religion—a system where truth is sacrificed on the altar of unity. It is the spirit of Babel reborn, seeking to build a kingdom where man’s “authenticity” is worshipped and God’s authority is ignored. The Remnant must recognize that being “hated of all nations” for the sake of the Name is the expected portion of the faithful (Matthew 24:9). We do not seek a seat at a table where the Truth is not welcome. We stand with the One who was “despised and rejected of men,” knowing that the gate is narrow and the way is hard, but it is the only path that leadeth unto life.
