The Dinosaur Conspiracy: Part 1 The Chronological Cover-Up

Part 1 of 4

The modern world is built upon a foundation of sand, a chronological construct designed to distance the soul of man from the hand of his Creator. We are told, with an air of settled authority, that “millions of years” separate the footprint of the man from the track of the dinosaur. Yet, this vast expanse of time is not a discovery of science, but a tactical necessity of the Great Deception. If one can stretch the days into eons, the sudden, cataclysmic judgment of the Great Flood is conveniently buried beneath a slow, agonizing crawl of evolutionary progress. The world as we see it today is not a testimony of slow growth, but a graveyard of sudden judgment. For the scripture warns us that in the last days, men would be “willingly ignorant” of the fact that the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.

The “millions of years” narrative is the primary engine of the Dinosaur Conspiracy. By asserting that these great creatures died out sixty-five million years before the first man drew breath, the secular world effectively silences the testimony of the rocks. They use circular reasoning to date the fossils: they know how old the fossil is by the rock layer it is in, and they know how old the rock layer is by the fossils found within it. It is a closed loop of logic that admits no divine intervention. But the Bible provides a far more robust and forensic account of history. When we look at the fossil record, we are not looking at a slow progression of life, but a snapshot of a world caught in the throes of a global upheaval.

The preservation of these creatures is itself a testimony against the secular timeline. We are told that fossils form over vast stretches of time, yet biology and chemistry tell a different story. For a creature to be fossilized, it must be buried rapidly and deeply, away from the reach of oxygen and scavengers. The very existence of a dinosaur fossil is a silent scream of a creature buried in a watery catastrophe. The earth stands as a witness, for “the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished” (2 Peter 3:5-6). The conspiracy seeks to replace the “watered” world of Noah with a “weathered” world of millions of years, yet the evidence of the rocks points toward a singular, terrifying event.

As we peel back the layers of this chronological cover-up, we find that the timeline of man is not a separate chapter from the timeline of the dinosaur. They are written on the same page, in the same ink, by the same Author. The attempt to separate them is an attempt to dismantle the authority of the Word. If the first eleven chapters of Genesis are treated as myth or “poetic imagery,” the foundation of the Gospel is undermined. But God has not left Himself without a witness. Even in the silent stones and the deep places of the earth, the truth of the Bible remains unshaken. We are not the descendants of a billion-year accident; we are the survivors of a divine reckoning, living among the ruins of a world that once was.
