The Prerogative of the Creator

The Allegation

The modern world, and even segments of the professing church, are charged with Cosmic Theft. They seek to enjoy the benefits of “Natural Law” and “Human Rights” while systematically denying the existence of the Lawgiver. They treat the universe as an unowned property, thereby attempting to seize the authority to redefine gender, life, and morality apart from the Architect’s original blueprints.

The Deposition

The “Secular Humanist” and the “Theistic Evolutionist” both argue that the world is a product of process rather than Prerogative. By removing the intentional, creative act of God from the forefront of the human mind, they argue that man is the ultimate arbiter of truth. If there is no deliberate Creator, there is no inherent purpose; if there is no inherent purpose, man may “create” his own reality. This is the ultimate rebellion: the pot telling the potter what it shall be.

The Scriptural Cross-Examination

The Scripture does not just present Creation as an event, but as the foundation of God’s absolute Ownership and Authority.

  • On Ownership: The world claims it belongs to “humanity.” The Word says in Psalm 24:1: “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
  • On the Pattern of Life: Man claims the right to redefine his own nature. The Word says in Psalm 100:3: “Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.”
  • On the Purpose of Creation: It was not an accident of time, but a manifestation of Will. Revelation 4:11 declares: “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

The Closing Argument

The defense of Creation is not merely a debate over “how old” the earth is; it is a battle over Who is in charge. To deny the Creator is to attempt to stage a coup against the Throne of Heaven. If we did not make ourselves, we do not own ourselves. Therefore, we have no authority to rewrite the laws of biology, the definition of marriage, or the sanctity of life.

The “Creation” is the evidence of a King’s decree. To live in the King’s world while ignoring the King’s laws is not “progress”—it is high treason. We find that any doctrine which removes the Divine Will from the origin of life is an attempt to escape the Divine Judgment of the soul.

Verdict: The Heavens declare the Glory of God; to deny the Creator is to choose spiritual blindness. Status: The Truth is defended; the Sovereignty of God is upheld.
