The Record
The Vacant Sepulchre
The first physical exhibit. The stone, weighing several tons, was not merely moved but rolled away, revealing an empty tomb that neither the Roman guard nor the Jewish leaders could explain away.
“And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.” — Mark 16:4
The Linen Clothes
Forensic evidence of an orderly departure. The grave clothes were not scattered as if by a thief, but lying in their place, with the napkin for the head folded separately.
“Then cometh Simon Peter… and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.” — John 20:6-7
The Forensic Scars
To prove His physical identity, the King presented His wounds to the skeptics. This was not a spirit or a ghost, but the same body that was pierced on the Tree.
“Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.” — John 20:27
The Eyewitness Testimony
The record is confirmed by over five hundred witnesses who saw Him at once. In any court of law, this volume of corroborating evidence is insurmountable.
“After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present…” — 1 Corinthians 15:6
