The Passover of the Remnant and the Signs of the Sky

The Testimony of the Times

As the sun sets and the feast of Passover begins, the world finds itself in a state of profound agitation and celestial ambition. In the halls of power, the President has issued a Passover message to the nation, framing this season of deliverance as a call to national unity and a “radiant American future.” This follows a series of recent proclamations honoring the “timeless values” of faith, yet the air remains thick with the spirit of division. Even as these words are spoken, the “No Kings” rallies have surged across the Republic, with thousands taking to the streets in cities like Chicago and Washington D.C. to protest what they perceive as the rise of an imperial presidency and the drumbeats of war.

While men argue over the crowns of earth, NASA’s Artemis II has pierced the firmament. On this very day, April 1st, four souls were launched atop a pillar of fire from Kennedy Space Center, slingshotting around the Earth to begin a journey toward the moon. It is the first time in over half a century that humanity has ventured beyond low Earth orbit. We watch as the world looks upward to the lunar heights, even as the President calls for a mass gathering on the National Mall this coming May to “rededicate America to God”—a Jubilee intended to mark 250 years of Providence.

The Scriptural Exhibit

The Scripture is not silent concerning the hubris of man or the necessity of the blood of the Lamb. In the book of Exodus, the Lord declared: “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt” (Exodus 12:13).

Yet, while the world seeks to “rededicate” lands and reach for the heavens, the Word warns of a time when men shall say, “Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name” (Genesis 11:4). We are further reminded that true safety is not found in political rallies or lunar orbits, for “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes” (Psalm 118:8-9).

The Forensic Analysis

We must examine the evidence of this hour with a sober mind. The “No Kings” movement reflects a deep-seated fear of the “falling away” and the consolidation of power, yet it often seeks a secular solution to a spiritual crisis. Conversely, the “Rededication to God” event scheduled for the National Mall presents a veneer of piety, but we must ask: Can a nation be rededicated by a ceremony if the hearts of the people remain far from repentance? The Lord saith, “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me” (Matthew 15:8).

The Artemis mission, while a marvel of “American ingenuity,” serves as a modern Tower of Babel—a distraction from the true “Blessed Hope.” Man seeks to establish a “Moon Base” to stay, yet the believer knows we have here no continuing city. The alignment of these events—the President’s appeal to the “Terror of Demons” in his recent messages, the civil unrest of the “No Kings” protests, and the reach for the stars—all point to a world attempting to save itself through strength and ceremony while ignoring the sacrifice of the true Passover.

The verdict is clear: The signs in the earth and the signs in the stars are converging. National rededication is a hollow shell without individual transformation through the blood of Jesus Christ. As the Artemis crew journeys toward the moon, let us remember that the only ascent that matters is the one promised to the faithful. Do not be deceived by the clamor of the streets or the speeches from the White House. The world prepares for a Jubilee of its own making, but the Remnant prepares for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
